Huxley employs the use of imagery throughout his novel. One example of imagery, is using animals. He describes these people and machines as locusts, turkey buzzards, and giant grasshoppers. Driving further into this, they treat the savage like he is an animal. He is doing things to himself that normal people don't usually do. They have never seen this and thus flock to him like he is an exhibit on show for all to see.
I'm a little confused by your analysis here. You say the animal imagery is used to show how they treat John like an animal, but all of the quotes you provide are describing the people as animals, not John.
