Number Eleven- Alduous Shakespeare?

Numerous times in this book Alduous Huxley refers to William Shakespeare. Shakespeare had the same ideas as Alduous, writing about things that couldn't be, or ideas that were viewed as futuristic such as the perfect society, or the "Romeo and Juliet relationship". A device that Alduous uses is he makes his writing like Shakespeare. He doesn't straight copy him either. He presents the relationship of John and Lenina and allows the reader to make the connection of Romeo and Shakespeare. Shakespeare also included stanzas in his writings. Alduous actually has direct quotations in this story from Shakespeare when John is reciting them.
